Based on FIP Cardiovascular Handbook

Learning Objectives

  • Design evidence-based pharmacological treatment plans for hypertension according to current guidelines
  • Implement guideline-directed medical therapy for heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF)
  • Select appropriate lipid-lowering therapies based on cardiovascular risk and lipid parameters
  • Develop antithrombotic regimens for various cardiovascular conditions considering bleeding risk
  • Manage stable angina with appropriate antianginal therapies and secondary prevention strategies
  • Monitor for adverse effects and drug interactions in complex cardiovascular pharmacotherapy
